Basic asanas for well being

A regular yoga practice correlates with increased well-being, including better sleep, better body awareness, weight loss, and greater peace. Improving awareness and also simultaneously helps to boost compassion, gratitude, and “flow” states, all of which contribute to greater happiness.
This two hour workshop is intended to teach 10 asanas that can improve the well-being of the participants.

Pranayama and meditation

Pranayama is a practice of increasing the pranic flow by manipulating the mechanism of breathing. Meditation is a process of getting into one pointedness and staying there . The goal of pranayama and meditation is to connect your body and mind. This is meant to provide healing physiological benefits.

This two hour workshop helps participants learn basic techniques of pranayama and mediation and help manage stress.

Stress Relief & Sound Sleep

Insomnia is the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. Insomnia can have many long-term effects, including daytime sleepiness and impairment, memory loss, and mood changes. Studies have demonstrated that yoga can be beneficial in managing sleep problems. Yoga can enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being. It might also help you manage your symptoms of depression and anxiety that are due to difficult situations.

This two hour workshop helps participants learn asanas and breathing techniques that will help beat sleeplessness. 

Yoga for backache

Back pain not only hurts, but it’s very annoying when it won’t go away (let me live my life!). If your bad posture or sedentary desk job has your back buggin’, yoga might just be your saving grace for back pain relief.

This two hour workshop is intended to teach 10 asanas that can strengthen the back and provide relief for the participants.
